| MINI-MONSTERS – skiers ages 3 and 4 |
Mini-Monsters program provides a safe and caring environment for our smallest sliders. Based in the Nakiska daycare center, Mini-Monsters can participate in half or full day Ski n Play sessions where the focus is all fun and games.
Outdoor activities (weather permitting) include toboggan rides, adventure walks, playground time in “Kritter World” and of course skiing. Mini-Monsters will use a user-friendly beginner ski set that features a binding that will accommodate any winter boot, and free heels so that sliding around and about is as easy as possible.
If it is too cold outside, Mini-Monsters will play indoors – the Nakiska daycare center is equipped with TONS of toys, arts & crafts and a caring staff who ensure that all the fun is safe, too.
If you prefer a more traditional ski lesson experience for your child, Nakiska also offers Mini-Monster private lessons.
Mini-Monster programs can be purchased one-by-one, or as 6-week programs. |

ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM –
for skiers or snowboarders aged 13 or older |
HELP WANTED!! With Nakiska’s Assistant Instructor Program, you get paid to learn!
Strong intermediate skiers or riders are invited to apply – space is limited!
This program provides an opportunity to explore the ins and outs of being a ski or snowboard instructor. Participants will assist certified instructors with lessons and receive daily technical training from our senior instructor training staff.
Technical training is geared toward Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance (CSIA) or Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI) Level I certification. (note: minimum age for CSIA or CASI Level I candidates is 15 years, however, kids aged 13 and up are welcome to participate in the training program until they reach the required age)
Many graduates from Nakiska’s Assistant Instructor program continue to work with us today as fully certified instructors!
