Recent Enhancements Raise the Bar at Calgary's Closest Mountain
Nakiska Ski Area - A real mountain, real close to Calgary undergoes major enhancements and is picked to be the Official Alpine Canada Alpine National Training Centre. The famed alpine site of the 1988 Olympic Winter Games is now set to become a major staging site for Canada's Olympic hopefuls.
A raft of new improvements for 2009/10 should make Nakiska not just Calgary's closest mountain, but Calgary's favorite!

Daylodge Renovations: Enhancements have been made to everything including a new roof, deck, washrooms, and floors. The Finish Line Lounge located on the upper level has been completely refurbished with new flat screen tv's, chairs, and tables. A great location to relax in style! |

Rental Shop: New Racking provides more floor space while new rental kiosks help guests get equipment faster so they can enjoy more time on the slopes. |
